Up the stairs, we’re led to Josephine Trotter’s studio. It’s stunning. Her paintings spill from wall to ceiling, filling every nook and cranny with colour and story.

As Producer at INOV8 Studio, I was responsible for organising the day, supporting art direction, and, most importantly, making sure our subject felt at ease. With all the curiosity and charm surrounding her, we sat Josephine down to talk about her life, rich, textured, and layered in paint.

Her collaboration with Cotswolds Distillery felt effortless. Her home is nestled in the hills, and now her artwork is part of the ebb and flow of whisky-making. We even got her to try some. Her verdict? It hit the spot.
