It’s my first day. The folks at Yatta say, “We’ve got this idea…”

Yatta is an animation studio fuelled by childlike wonder. They wanted to create something that brought together motion designers, animators, studios, and illustrators.

And that’s where I came in.

With the support of the team, we curated a beautiful ‘little’ event. We started small, but interest in Motion Folks quite literally grew overnight.

Our first event featured talks from Josh Fry, Brands in Motion, Con McHugh, and Bekki Leahy.

Next up, we brought in the big guns: Found, WA17, Shirley Wang, and Dan Woodger.

My final event included Unseen Studio, Gav Strange, Lamia & Hend and Echoic Audio.

There’s nothing I love more than booking speakers, planning details, getting a local brewery on board, and meeting brilliant, clever people.
